Some of the feedback from James’s courses

'Professional, hugely experienced and enthusiastic are the three words which sum up James. Oh, and and he’s one hell of a talented rider…'  Toby Dalton, WHEELBASE.co.uk

“A brilliant day's training - thank you! Now I just have to get a bit better so I can go on the next one :-) “

“I need to make time to do repeat practice on skills now and again instead of just doing long rides. I am a judo coach, another complex sport and I was impressed with the way James broke things down so we could discover why it's better to do things one way and not another. “

“Great course. James led the course very well. Expert instruction, better than I expected. “

“The Mountain bike skills level 2 course was excellent. Lifted the lid on what I have been missing when riding the trails. Excellent instruction in the beautiful Malvern hills! “

“We had a fantastic day, James was brilliant and we learned loads.  Looking forward to some happy, sweaty and challenging miles on our bikes. “

“Great course, easy booking, did what it said on the tin.  Will definitely recommend you to others. “

“I just though I'd e-mail to say thanks. My son Ben (14) and myself had a great time yesterday with James. We could never have predicted there'd just be the two of us with such a great instructor, a real 1:1 learning experience!

James's knowledge of the terrain and the sport is immense, he also has a great skill of finding your comfort zone and pushing you past it in a safe and controlled manner, a great way to learn, and it set both Ben and myself a new level to move forward from.

James was also very informative during the day in general conversation and advice about all aspects of mountain biking set up, geometry and advice about buying a new bike.

We came away with plenty of tips to practise and new skills to develop further and to be shown how to do basic skills properly was a real benefit, even the real basics such as braking and tight turning skills.

I realise now with us being 'self taught', that it is all too easy to keep on practising to get better at doing something the wrong way! It was a great day, many thanks to James," Ian & Ben
