BACK TO BASICS - Bike set up and body position are essential.

Beginning with a bike safety check, we will look at tyre pressure, saddle height, brake and gear lever position, bar position and stem height. As well as simple pointers to identify wear and tear issues with your bike. Once the bike is covered we will look at your contact points, when to sit and stand, where to look, pedaling and safe braking.

Whilst riding we will look at safety on the trails, where and how to stop and how to set off on uphill, flat, and downhill sections. All in a safe non-technical environment. Once all the key points are covered a ride into appropriate terrain will allow us to put the core skills in to action out on the trail. All the while your questions will be answered and feedback given.
